Resonant-AI Development Project
Energy-Efficient Artificial Intelligence through the Resonant Compute Framework (RCF)
Resonant-AI is a next-generation artificial intelligence development program aimed at optimizing the operation of large language models (LLMs) in terms of both energy use and computational efficiency. The project is a joint initiative of the AVA Resonant Intelligence Program and the IARIP Institute, built upon their jointly developed Resonant Compute Framework (RCF) principle.
The technology’s core concept is a resonance-based regulation of neural network activity, ensuring that at any given moment only those computational units are active which are truly required for the current task. This approach achieves significant savings in energy and computation time while maintaining virtually unchanged model accuracy.
During virtual validation, the RCF technology demonstrated:
– 36 % reduction in energy consumption,
– 22 % decrease in inference time, and
– less than 0.5 % loss in accuracy compared to baseline models.
The next development phase focuses on verifying these results through real GPU-level measurements and international validation. The Resonant-AI Project prepares the ground for the next era of artificial intelligence — the era of self-tuning, energy-balanced systems, where performance and sustainability are not opposites, but reinforcing principles of the same design philosophy.
