Energy-Efficient Artificial Intelligence via the Resonant Compute Framework (RCF)

Resonant-AI is the flagship development project of the AVA Resonant Intelligence Program. Its objective is to make large language models (LLMs) and AI inference systems significantly more energy- and cost-efficient, while preserving model performance and accuracy.

The project does not introduce a new AI model. Instead, it delivers an architectural optimization layer that integrates seamlessly on top of existing AI systems.

The challenge

In modern AI systems, the primary limitation is no longer accuracy, but:

Conventional neural networks operate at full capacity during every inference step — even when only a fraction of the model’s computational structure is actually required.

The solution – Resonant Compute Framework (RCF)

The Resonant Compute Framework introduces a resonance-based execution principle that:

  • – dynamically identifies which computational units are required for a given task,
  • – and activates only those units in real time.

The system continuously adapts its execution strategy through feedback-driven modulation. This is not a model replacement, but a resonant control layer governing how computation is performed.

Measured results

During virtual validation, RCF-based optimization demonstrated:

  • – 22% decrease in inference time
  • – less than 0.5% accuracy loss compared to baseline models

The next development phase focuses on real GPU-level benchmarking and independent international validation.
